Pedal to The Fort

I didn't know you could do this, but you can!

Nice new link from he entrance to Asda takes you straight in to the shopping centre car park:

Click HERE for a simple 1mile route from the foot of Brunstane Road - and all off road once you've negotiated the top of Brunstane Road.

Much quicker than a car!

Good one to point out to those not in the know... It's not new as such, just recently resurfaced and cleaned up. Before it was a bit bumpy!

When you see the queues of cars waiting to get into Asda and the Fort, you do feel festively smug if you're tackling the journey on 2 wheels!

I got stuck at Muselburgh Tescos for a good 45 minutes today in traffic. I had a kayak on my roof and came very close to abandaning my car, sliding the kayak into the Esk and paddling home!

Merry Christmas to you all xx
