2008 Portobello High School Calendar now available!

The 2008 Portobello High School calendar is now available, featuring the art-work of S3 students. The images are all of local buildings and the calendar is available through the school at just £4, with all proceeds going to PHS.

Sandra, it's sold through PHS and will be available at the Towerbank school fair next Saturday. I'm happy to pick up copies for anyone who wants one. Just pm me or post here. It's a limited edition of 500 so grab one while you can.

I could scan in all 12 images but I think that might be counter-productive to encouraging sales and might get me into trouble! Suffice to say, all the artwork is of a very high standard and it's really nice to have a calendar that features local views.

I'm hoping to showcase more of PHS students' artwork in the POL gallery in the near future.

I got mine at the Craft Fair last Sat. and can confirm it's a good buy, Sandra.

I was also in the Art Dept of PHS last Friday afternoon and was very impressed by the quality of pupil work on display.

In past years it's been on sale at Portobello Stationers too.
