Reading Festival Tickets

Post by SoupDragon » 14 Aug 2007, 22:15

Theres a camping ticket going at cost price (150 pounds )
Small drawback is are you willing to give 3 others a lift?
( parking permit with deal )

Very slight chance that ,if you can drive and have good record, a volvo estate may be available

Concerts brill ( of the ones I saw ), camping muddy but ok, loos awful really, reallyBAD
We got back about 7.30 and have been cleaning ourselves since!

Was glad to see I wasn't the oldest person there!
Embarrased Clanger1 by knowing the words to Fallout Boy ( and telling her the correct ones! )
"Ooo you're so EMO mum!"
Danced round my handbag, pointed fingers to the sky and joined the jumping to the Lost Prophets
Got a wee touch of sun- in spite of factor 50 and straw hat

Oh smelly loos, muddy campsite, queues to get the ferry across to our camp, tribal warfare/riot on last night.

I've got tickets booked to go again next year  :hippy2:

I might even take the kids

Me dancing round my handbag
Crowd politley ignoring me!

As far as I was concerned the best bands were
Panic at the disco,
Fallout Boy, ( sense of humour too )
Lost Prophets- they ROCKED, (I joined the jumping crowd! )
Biffy Clyro,
Smashing Pumpkins
The Thrash
Red Hot Chilli Peppers ( Flea does nod his head like that all the time )
Nine Inch Nails- fantastic light show , their set was better than the one they did supporting the Foo Fighters at Meadowbank I'm told

Got tickets to see Biffy Clyro at Corn Exchange in November, looking forward to seeing them already.

Smashing Pumpkins
Image

Nine Inch Nails- fantastic light show
They were all down the front crowd surfing and flashing bit, I stayed at the side and watched the coats, drinks, bags ( knew they took me for a reason )

Image

Packed ready to go home, note muddy Docs on roof

Image

Reading toilet chic, modeled by Clanger1s pal

They were drop toilets so best not to look down
They were rather smelly so inside over her nose is a wad of tissue with tea tree oil
And this years must have- bog roll onna string- leaves hand free for holding door closed!

Hey Soupy, think I will e spladooshing you soon, having seen the pics. BTW - it was Mr PB that left the note on your volvo a while back asking if you wanted the alloys from our now deceased red volvo.

Thats a shame, someone must have removed it. They are down at the Musselburgh Breakers now, they might still have them if you are looking for tyres or alloys. Don't know how much they will want for them. We were just going to give them to you - a gift from one Volvo lover to another as it were.
