Tents

Post by SoupDragon » 25 Jul 2007, 21:02

The big Tesco at Corstorphine has a sale.
(Baby Dragon doing fencing at Craigmount High )

I can 't resist a bargin and Mr Soupy and youngest are going camping next week
On Monday I bought a sleeping bag for £3
On Tuesday I got a 3 man dome tent for £3
On Wednesday I bought a "pop up" tent for £7

( sound like a kids book this )

My purchases

Mr Soupy muttering about not being seen dead etc etc, ach well Clanger 1 going to Reading featival after she gets back from Eastern Europe

so easy to set up pop up tent

Ok it was easy to pop up but took me ( defeated Clanger 2, bit Mr Soupy ) several hours to pop down
I've bought a mobius strip cunningly diguised as a tent!
Mr Soupy says it's now in its bag and staying there.
Still I cant resist a bargain, it was reduced from £34.
Wonder why?

Any way does anyone out there know how to collapse a pop up tent easily?

Porty, thats exactly what Mr Soupy said!

Its back in its bag now. Don't think the boys were keen on its colour anyway. Not manly enough for a father / son camping, fishing ,bonding trip

Could have left it in the back green and told our eldest its her new room

Great lazy buggers?

Mr Soupy got hold of a video on the internet showing how to put down a pop up tents.
As it's wet outside he put said tent up in our kitchen/living room.
For a while it looked like it was there to stay and he was getting grumpy
I had visions of having to rush outside to apologise those strolling along the Prom as a tent went flying out the window.
But he managed :hello1:

I haven't laughed so much for ages

A sharp tap with a ruler is best, I've found.
