I caught a clip of Cartoon Cavalcade the other day. That guy gave me the creeps am I alone in this? For some reason or other he reminded me of Casey Kasem (spelling) who used to the Billboard 100 on American Forces Radio and on TV>

Creepy doesn't cover it.
Do you remember, he held conversations with his desklamp? He was a dangerously disturbed psycho.
Probably.
On the plus side though, he showed Caspar cartoons. Which for some reason I really liked when I was about 8 years old.

I liked him as well, Caspar I mean. In fact Caspar is my password for the DB at work. He did talk to that desklamp, what was its name?

It was called Palladin or something like that, I think.

That's right, it was way too spooky. He had the Val Doonican look about him, Glen did.

Nooooooooo - you're so wrong there.
As an eight year old I would have had no qualms at sitting on Val's lap and having him sing me "Scarlet Ribbons" or "Paddy McGinty's Goat".
I would however, have instinctively known to run away screaming from Glen and his "magic lamp"!

I agree with you on that ecm I liked Val Doonigan when I was a nipper.
I got so fed up with Cartooon Cavalcade as it became more like the Glen Michael show and showed less cartoons and more of him and his stupid lamp.

Then there were the sad parents who sent in loving detailed birthday cards for their sprogs - all to have the dubious pleasure of having Glen read them out on air.
Luckily, this was one programme STV didn't export (at least, not to N.I.) - the sole purpose was to terrify Scottish kiddies. Mind you, when you parents warned of the dangers of talking to strangers, they could point to Glen as a fine example.
I do seem to remember that he had suspiciously luxuriant hair...
I did rather like Rudi the dachshund - how on earth could they replace him with that stupid Paladin???

I' forgotten about Rudi. He was cute.
I hated that lamp (as if we didn't guess it was Glen's voice used for it!!).

Fishes are usually understood to include the jawless vertebrates such as the lamprey and hagfish; and the shark, ray, chimaera, lungfish, and bony fishes. The latter group includes the forms most commonly known as fish.
In other words yes!!!!
Athough sharks have got bigger teeth!!!!
