From whence do you post? Are you in a purpose built room, surrounded by high tech equipment, piped music, a mini fridge full beer/vodka on the rocks, centrally heated with a view across the sea to die for? Or are you, like me, confined to a draughty, cobweb infested, uninsulated loft. Accessed by a ramsay ladder, the only view being out of a very small, dirty skylight which I can only reach with the aid of a chair. I can stare over for inspiration at the filthy hairy material stuff which covers the pipes or look forlornly into the corner which, in my dreams, will one day become the ensuite. Where are you sitting right now :?:

In splendid isolation with the laptop at the back of the house, wrapped in a duvet and surrounded by palm trees, with a pint of apple and cranberry tea. There would be a view of the sky and garden if it wasn't dark, or I could move laptop to the windowsill for a miniscule view of the sea. Watching ER and catching up on TalkPorty - loads to read! :D

I suspect a good few posters do so from the hallowed portals of MBH - the unparalled ambience, the sheer luxury of the surroundings are truely inimitable.

We do sometimes sit here on a laptop each - but we haven't quite lost the power of speech yet :shock:

Yes, we're in the living room too, used to be in the dining room (when I still had one) then in the hall for a while and finally in here, which was a pest at first but now it means you can still be sociable and semi watch the telly as well.........if you don't mind a crick in your neck :lol:

I'm a tall, slim, leggy blonde with a very tidy house.
Oh ,sorry, thought it was liars!!

Our main pc is in my room. This room used to be the lounge but is now my bedroom with a wee setee & tv ( for escape from noisy kids) and lots of junk at the moment, needs decorating
Now that we're wireless there's a laptop in the kitchen/living room,where there's the fridge, tv, view of the sea. What else could you want?
(The wine rack is in there too)

Most of the time I sit opposite PoP in our PHS office. My desk is a mess. At home I do have a mini fridge at arms length.

yes, normally. I also have a cook.

Just now I am at work in the sunny west of Scotland. Its not quite the same.

My son has just passed on a PC like that one to one of my other kids as he has just been given a new one.
