Crufts tonight on BBC 2 @ 8.00pm

What dog's your favourite!
As we had a lovely Weimaraner until she sadly died last April, that has to be my favourite, with the basenji coming second favourite!

Last night saw the " gun dog" group with the flat coated retreiver winning.
Tonight it will be working and pastoral
Tomorrow it'll be the little terriers!! And the hounds
And on Sunday, the toy and utility breeds get their chance to strut their stuff!!!
And, of course, the best in show!!!

So to all who like to watch that sort of thing, Enjoy!!

I love watching Crufts, too, had the pleasure of being there many years ago when it was still held in London, the sheer size of the place and all those dogs under one roof was awesome.
I'm a terrier girl myself needless to say so I'll be rooting for the terrier group winner to win.
As I'm going to be in York tomorrow, I'll have to speak nicely to Mr TG and get him to record the programme for me.

By the way we were in Linlithgow last Saturday, Arachnid and I bought a nice wee fish in the pet shop

I'm sure Mr. TG would do anything for you Teddygirl, just like Mr. Arachnid!!!( ho!ho!ho! and pigs might fly aye???)
Hope you have a great time in York, don't spend too much money, or should I say," go mad, what the heck"!!!!
Gosh if I'd known you were in Linlithgow, I could've come down and spladooshed you!!!

Or you could've come for a wee cuppa tea and a biscuit!!!!

The people in the pet shop are very nice and usually very helpful, hope get a lot of enjoyment from your new fish

Very kind of you to offer us a cup of tea,Arachnid

We weren't there for very long, we'd been taking our daughter to the airport and then visited a couple of garden centres on the Bo'ness road and took an alternative route home.
The woman in the pet shop was very nice, in fact she took a £ off the price of my fish as he was rather small compared to the rest in the tank.

Clanger 1 just back from New York, had to go through and pick her up from Glasgow aiport. Ended up giving her pals a lift to Stitling and beyond as the rail strike had started.

Thanks SoupD, should be in the shower now and not sitting here but this is part of my wake up process

L is in Gran Canaria and is having a great time by all accounts.
Fortunately we just had to go to Edinburgh airport, it's been a long time since we went through to Glasgow. Hope Clanger 1 had a great time in New York.

Ooo Gran Canaria! A lot warmer than here I'd think.
She loved NY but hostel was awful.
I'll get the name of it and post pics l8r, she took some to complain to Going Places ( I think ) about the standards

So that's the flat coated retreiver, bloodhound, bearded collie, wire haired fox terrier and Alaskan Malamute through, just the toy and utiliity breeds to go, which will be on t.v. later on, incuding the best in show!!!

Bet you'd be pleased if the fox terrier won Teddygirl!!!

Hope you had a great time at York! Any money left???

You lot inspired me to watch Crufts tonight. I'd forgotten about pedigree animal names - they're fantasic!

I'm only half watching as I type, and think I've seen a fluffy gineau pig trot past..

Had to record " Crufts" tonight as Mr. Arachnid was watching something else!!

So just finished watching the final and the Tibetan terrier has got Best in Show, nice dog and named after Mr. Arachnid( fabulous Willy)( miss out the fabulous for Mr. Arachnid!!!

Your Fox terrier got second Teddygirl!!!

Bet they all eat Pedigree Chum too!!!

( uaually get the advert on t.v. for a few daysafter the show !!!)
So that's it for another year!!!

Haven't had a chance to watch Saturdays or last nights episodes yet, had to record them both but couldn't resist flicking between channels to see who was going to be the supreme champion. The lovely foxy should have come first

Had a lovely day in York, thanks. Didn't buy very much so some pennies left for the antique fair next week-end

I only got to see the final of
crufts as I'm the only dog-lover in the house.
I thought the wee smooth haired chihuahua should have won it's group.
