Well, anybody got any good gossip to get us going?

A certain POLer is such a gossip that today at Scotmid Mrs Sicker went in, got her messages, went out and then went back in again for something she'd forgotten and all the while the said certain POLer chatted... and chatted ...etc.

For all I know she's still there!!

Well my gossip is that I'm sitting posting here when I'm supposed to be picking someone up and taking them round, shudder, Asda. Have to go tonight or will end up shopping on Saturday, dont think my nerves will stand that!

so there ! In fact I'm just back from Tesco's (what an exciting life I lead)....................and who kept me gossiping?
Mrs S and I had just spent the last two hours in the cafe chatting so I was just winding down

I'm not long in the door. WhenI agreed to take friend shopping didn't realise it meant stopping to pay her bills, a trip round Lidl for s=cheap veggies for the guinea pigs then on to Tesco Corstorphine,
Me I didn't buy much, overalls for Clanger 1 , trousers for Clanger 2, more books, paint.....

Between us I think the latter, Poppy.
Glad I went last night as it's so nice today and the shops would be crowded.

As we're pushed for space we've been having a clear out. I'd got all the books away from beside the bed and onto the shelf in the hall, then the shelf came down!
So we've had a good look through the books 9 found some interseting stuff ) and took 50 or so up to the charity shop at lunch time, along with a rucksack that we last used on our trip to Iceland, pre Clangers. Found an old Icelandic sugar cube in it- no it wasn't Bjork.
Anyway moving stuff around shows how shabby the place is so I'm wanting to paint and freshen up.
Mr Soupy gets grumpy when DIY time comes. So he's gone fishing

He can do that all by himself!!!

Like Mr. Soupy, he escapes to go fishing too!!!

we have a cupboard in the hall where the coats, brushes etc should go. mr soupy has it as his "fishing lodge" Since we moved in the vaccum has to live in the hall!
He went down to Cockenzie, didn't catch anything but had a good time.
in days gone by I used to join him ( young love ) and I've fished at Linlithgow Loch. i dont mind casting, tyong fkies etc but a bit squeemish when it comes to taking the hooks out the poor wee creatures mouth!

Love the pic DaDa.I'll have to try and enlarge it and get it on the front door!

Just seen the Lebowski interview on Portobelly telly. I know the " step in " drummer.
He used to be a pupil at St Johns and is a pal of Clanger 2.
He usually turns up at or house just as I'm baking lasanga!

I saw two veteran POLers having a good old fashioned G&TT sesh in the rain, brollies up while their very bored (and wet) children were standing waiting patiently for whatever snippets were being exchanged to finish. You know who you are.......

Seems there was a car broken into on Straiton place last night.
The police came round to ask if we heard anything, a nice Irish cop who looks a bit like Rhys Ifans.
