POL Scottish Parliament Dinner

Post by Sandra » 01 Feb 2007, 21:08

I have been enquiring about availability for dinner at the Scottish Parliament. We talked about it last Friday. I spoke with the Restaurant and dates are filling up fast before dissolution. I propose dinner on Friday 23 March at around about 6.30pm. When I mentioned to the Restaurant Manager who exactly would be coming he was delighted and probably hoped we would order as much wine as last week..... :D

The following people have expressed an interest in attending, sorry if I have missed anyone out. Please confirm if you are still interested.

1. Bearcub
2. Scoop
3. Bob
4. Marya
5. Porty
6. Foxy
7. Pal of Porty
8. Sandra

I would put a maximum on of 14 so let me know ASAP if you want to come along and I will make a provisional booking tomorrow.

I'll join you if there is still space. Sorry I haven't replied earlier, my computers broken at home and has been for some time. (If anyone can fix an imac G5 they would make me happy). I can't really gas at work either at the moment as I've started a new job and I'm still trying to make a good impression! So think of me even if I'm not chipping in.

Sandra, can Mr Scoop (yes, hard to believe I know, but there is one) come along too? He would like to try and get some of his taxes back I think. And I think Epykat and Mr E would like to be there too. I'll check and get back to you soon.

my mum and dad were over on Monday and my boss took them for lunch in Parly restaurant.

The manager and staff were really pleased to see me  (I only had one large glass of wine, it was lunchtime after all  ).

Anyway, they are looking forward to seeing you all (well those of you who are going along) in March. I said to make sure to have lots of wine in!

Thought I'd bring this up to the top of the page again as a reminder for everyone that's going along.

Have you got everyone's names Sandra and have they stocked up the wine celler yet? :D

Porty and Pal of Porty can you confirm if you are both able to attend, thanks!
