I have just started to look through the first box. It is really exciting because many of these postcards are very rare and have never been seen before, outside of collector circles.
This is a unique collection that has taken many years to assemble and I'm delighted that Margeorie has chosen to share it with us.
I think it could take me the best part of a year to scan them all but I will be adding them to the gallery as I go along. Hope to get a few done today.

I have now added two new sections - King's Road and Town Hall (Police Station). Over the next few weeks I will be adding scenes from Portobello Streets along with one or two new themes. Margeorie has several postcards depicting the Marine Gardens so I will be looking out for those with rathbone's current archive research in mind and I have just found a postcard of the putting green in Rosefield Park. Lots to keep me busy!
PS Margeorie has duplicate copies of some of these postcards, so if you see anything in particular you would like let me know and I will find out if it is available.
