Happy 1000 Cleopas

Post by Dadaist » 06 Dec 2006, 18:02

Thought I'd get in first with warm wishes to the controversial conundrum which is Cleopas.

Well done for reaching a 4-figure post count.

(at time of writing Cleo was at 984, but this won't last at the current posting rate - although he/she/they/it has/have nothing on the likes of Epykat who sometimes opens an entire can of Spam on the board! Half a dozen? Wimp! Epykat in her prime can do about 18 threads in a single sitting)

A we bitty premature, Dada ... but I thank you anyway. I honestly have never courted controversy, but it seems to have a way of finding me! :(

18 threads in a single sitting, eh? Though I am in awe of Epykat (and your ownself of course) ... was that you throwing out a challenge, Dada??? Methinks, Ali might want a word with you! :)

Congrats when it comes Cleopas. The last 400 seemed to flash by. I noticed that Dadaist has tended towards premature emancipation recently. He must be sub-liminally hoping that things will come early.

And I dont mean Santa.
.....ambition makes you look pretty ugly

I have to admit ... around 975 I realised I wasn't far off the big one and three zeros. Now I'm in a hurry to get there! I want to be up among the top echelons, enjoying the heady atmosphere enjoyed by such luminaries as Dada and Porty.

What's the air like up in the 5000s??

YAAAY!!! I hit four figures!!! 1000. I'll rest on my laurels for a bit now!

Cheers all! :D :D

Nice one Cleo. And, even if I do think you're Ali, I have to say your posting rate is phenomenal. If you're not, then... get a life!

No, all joking aside, congratulations. How long til you're top poster? Probably not until next tuesday at the current rate. And, don't forget, you had about 3 months off til I mentioned you that day and you coincidentally reappeared - er, I mean, er, got your computer fixed!!! Oops! Sorry! At it again! My wife's gonna kill me!

Chin chin,

Well done Cleopas :thumbright: :D Won't be long until you've overtaken me that's for sure.

Does Nelson Hatstand know something that the rest of us don't know? He's always dropping these great big hints and I'm of a suspicious nature (miss Marple is my middle name)

Mind you he doesn't appear to know his own name...........Nelson Priest ? :?

Well....sometimes I go for quantity not quality  . And of course, since my infamous tired and emotional rant ( ), I try to steer clear of controversy

Sorry, meant to say - go for it Cleopas - write as much mince as you can :D

Yep, you're right.

It was the night of the Wolf Blass Yellow Label. The wine glass, unfortunately as it would turn out, had been forgotten, downstairs, in a kitchen cupboard and I couldn't be bothered going all the way back downstairs to get it, so, naively I started drinking from the bottle.........the rest, as they say, is history :?

Or were you thinking of that other night when...............sorry, better not.
