Congratulations, Poppy.
I have been admiring your posting skills for some time now. It is no surprise to me that you have reached 2000, unlike lesser lights such as Ali and Cleopas.
CHEERS,
NELSON.

Don't count me out too quickly, Mr Hatstand. I post at regular intervals here. I'll be at 1000 soon ... and I've been here less than a year. I even got 2 months off for good behaviour!

Well done Poopy!!!!
And more common sense in your posts than in everyone else's put together.

Hey Poppy congratulations. Does that make you 2/5ths as good as Porty and Dadaist?
Tee hee, I'm only messing. You are the soothing yang to the sometimes raging yin of others.

Now there's a man I like. He's started a congratulation thread for Poppy after his own 3000th post was missed. If it was me I'd be sulking and building up feelings of resentment.
Bob, you're an example to us all, and congratulations to you too.x

I'm EXTREMELY fussy.

But I have a sneaky fondness for Portly and Dadadadada. And, despite never meeting them, seanie and gilo.
And as for Pal of P... XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
PS And I quite like Plug too.

It's true. But, if it's any consolation, I only steal from those I love.

I was in Carlisle railway station a fortnight ago. We had our biannual day trip to York but couldn't go there so went to Carlisle instead.

Congrats Poopy, never can so few have been appreciated by so many. 2000 and the eighth person to achieve it. I know you are a wee bit sensitive about age, like we all are but I think you are the oldest to reach 2000 , so far.
You can look at that stat in a couple of ways. I prefer the positive. ly xx

I remember them being called both - but I never worked out what influenced people's choice of name...
I read recently that Gillian McKeith wants to ban them Silly moo.

Now, if that's not a perfectly good reason to go out and buy loads and stuff yourself to bursting, then I don't know what is.

(gawd, I detest that woman!

Would that be a wee grey (or broon) hoose moose ... or a big broon horse-like giant thing wi' antlers and a look like thunder on its face??
