How fascinating.

I watched it for the first time last night and it was riveting. The colours of the tumours, the concentration required by the surgeons, the bravery of the patients, the tension and the ordinariness of everyone involved made for an engrossing hour.

I didn't recognise Ross Davidson until well into the programme, what a brave fellow he was.

He used to be in Eastenders, hardly a well kent pus.

Did you watch it on your big telly? How is it performing? I'm working hard to get one here by constantly nagging in a 'I'll just wear you down' kind of way, and I think I'm beginning to make some progress.

Ahhh that explains it. I never watch Eastenders (I'm not into soaps, except I do like Neighbours) and couldn't name anyone in it. Thanks Porty.

That worked in this house

our old telly conveniently gave up the ghost and you didn't see Mr TG and TG junior( the old Mr Spoon for those that remember) for dust, checking out all the models up at Kinnaird. Not that we bought it there but was convenient for seeing them in the flesh so to speak. I just kept out of it and let them have their way for once.

Back to the Brain programme. I have been thinking about it a lot today. it was scheduled up against "I'm a celebrity get me out of here" which is a programmes about celebrities who have to go through some pain to stay in a jungle.

The brain priogramme was very similar, there weren't many celebrities but ther wer far more stars.

Unfortunately not working here. DJ Ines saw my post and lost it. Back to square one with some stupid old telly that you need a telescope to see anything on, then all you see is the middle bit 'cause the rest is chopped off. Then if you watch a film the already minute screen is further reduced with the top and bottom cut off. I mean come on it's about fifteen years old and it was crap when it was bought. Surely I've got a case?:x
