POL Christmas Night Out - the details..

Post by bearcub » 20 Nov 2006, 19:38

Right then, on Sandra's behalf, and taking the winners from the polls conducted here on POL, here are the details of the Christmas night out:

Date: Saturday 16th December - 7.00pm start

Location: Porty-wide Pub-crawl (now, who was surprised that THAT was the winning option  ) with optional pub quiz (Porty?)

We're open to suggestions, but S and me think the Plough would be a good starting point, with Dalriada/Ormelie the intended 'final' stop.

Please reply with your interest, or not, below.

I can manage but might be later than that - am busy in town until six.

That sounds fine for me Bearcub. Is there a number limit on this outing?

You know the usual POL night-out rules....no rules, or limits - although some have been known to wake up the next morning wishing there had have been! 8)

Yikes.

I think there should be lots of rules. In fact we could apply forum rules. No swearing. Usernames only. And everyone has to look like their avatar.

Especially Marya.

That's Gilo practising pouting while talking to PoP on the High Street in a freezing wind.

He'll be back to his six-pack, Depp-like self once he's indoors and had a warm bath and a strong drink!!

So who have we got so far?

I make it Epykat, Porty, PoP, Bellybabe, Sandra, Bearcub, Gilo, myself (and Homer ) and hopefully Seanie.

What about the rest of the usual suspects?

Dada? Bob?Foxy? Poppy? Plug? Nelson? Gedge? Granty?

Anymore?

Just being a tease... :P

PS That is a HORRIBLE Emoticon, G. Although appropriate for the copious amounts of drink involved at these things!!

I like your style. Keeping people guessing. Each time the pub door swings open everyone looks round - will she won't she?

Likewise I may at some point make a dramatic entrance :pottytrain3:

Plug seems quite amenable now he knows that Marya, BellyB, Sandra and Epy and of course Foxy will be there (and the poss of Mrs PoP - she who thinks we're all bampots!! ). If you could rustle up Ms Aniston now she's single wild horses would not keep him away, but he'll have to make do with us burdz

Ha! Just as well or you'd be quaking in your boots. She's even scarier than a drunken Portly pretending to be a dog.
