Baronet flavoured coffee pods

Post by Dadaist » 23 Oct 2006, 00:29

...no, I don't mean coffee pods which taste of a Baronet - rather the lovely company in the US which I've ordered pods from before :

That's just the flavoured ones. These guys rock.

As a side note, Baronet coffee have posted, on their Pumpkin Spice coffee page, the following -
"Guaranteed to bring back warm memories of eating Grandmas pumpkin pie."
I have quite clear memories of my late grandmother and am quite sure she never made pumpkin pie - at least not for me. I'm therefore unsure that I want to buy a coffee that, whilst of delicious thematic flavour, brings forth either repressed or false memories.

To be fair, it doesn't say that it was *my* grandmother. It could well be that everyone on the planet has at some point eaten pumpkin pie prepared by *a* grandmother.

What if I order some and it doesn't bring back any memories?

Don't think you need to worry about that, old boy. At the very least the pumpkin coffee will bring back memories of you starting this thread.

Furthermore, I'm sure we have Grandmas here on POL and if one of them started a thread the circle is complete.

I'm telling you, that pumpkin coffee is some tricky medicine. I'm already having flashbacks to the last time I never tried it

There's no response to that. You've out-weirded me and for that I salute you. And bonus points for cross-topic "flashback" relevance.

If the Pumpkin Spice pods don't come with any memories I don't suppose the Nutty Irish Man pod will come with an eccentric Cork guy then.
