Radio Free Porty In Take Over Shocker

Post by gilo » 22 Oct 2006, 22:40

Earlier to day it was formally agreed that RFP would have its staff membership cut and replaced with "more up to date" employees.

The new Controlling Director Impossible Voices said "we cannot tolerate losing listeners at this rate. Surrealist proved to be a turn off rather than a turn on".

The move has similarities to Radio 1 sacking some of their leading dj's in the 90's. DJ Gilo, who is likely to be highly rewarded in the change around, said "it's a bit like Simon Bates being replaced by Jo Whiley, I suppose".

Surrealist, who started the station is reported to be fuming. The only words he uttered were "go and ***** yourselves".

An update on the future of RFP is likely very soon.

As the former dictator of RFP I'd like freedom from prosecution when the truth & reconciliation committee convenes.
