Excellent - share the link if you will as I might want to have a San Andreas avatar in the future.

Does your questioning of Dave (and careful use of allowable graphics) mean that you're against all material which uses something which is trademarked or copyrighted as a constituent part?

If so, why have you picked this precise instance to take a stand?

Who are you to question me on that point? You're not a moderator now you know.
It doesn't mean anything but that I am surprised that Dave would jeopardise his campaign's good name (hahaha) by blatantly taking a well-established logo, defacing it and using it without permission.

I could just as easily ask you why you have chosen this precise moment to take a stand on Dave's behalf?

I think it depends on the context. In this instance a small campaign has subverted the logo of a big business - a very healthy state of affairs in my opinion. If it were in reverse and Tennents had nicked one of Dave's graphics and were using it to give more people liver-failure, I'd be all over them on the permission tip.

I think that the party in the park is a superb idea and I hope that I can manage attend the day with the rest of my family. I do however get fed up being told 'what I love' as is the case quoted in the Evening News today -

"We want to celebrate the park while we still have it. It is well-loved by all of the community."

ALL the community? Most, few, almost everybody etc but ALL is simply an assertion that is just not true.

I do believe that the whole shabang was a rip roaring success.

However as Young Henry said the other day as we smoked a couple of fancy fish over a cedar fire on the beach, watching the sun set in the only way it can at the beautiful port

I say Papah, now who was that pink shirted fellow reading the rules and regulations of the park on Friday about elevensies time, and why on earth did those awefully nice chaps from the Ranger service appear at the doo? Did they enjoy their cuppa Papah, did they?

I of course had absolutely no idea what the young fellow was talking about and soundly thrashed him for upsetting the applecart. I mean the kippers were hardly done.

Maybe the clue was in the "not really" and "as such".

Also, the original article did not explicitly state that community leader Diana Cairns was the organiser of the event - it could have meant that she was an/the organiser of PPAG itself.
