Correct. The movie one is "Traffic", the old C4 series is "Traffik".

Are 7 and 8 the same film?
Sound very like a James Bond film (Moonraker ?)

There is one where he jumps out without a parachute and fights the pilot midair and steals his (I think)

In clue 7 the guy dies. In clue 8 he doesn't die.

Different guys - different movies. Tell me which one you want to guess is Moonraker and I'll tell you if you're right or wrong!

The 2 different guys would be the pilot (who dies) who jumped out of his own accord but got his parachute stolen in mid air by James Bond (who also jumped out on his own accord but without the parachute and lives).

But if it's 2 different movies then that doesn't matter anyway!
I did also think of Point Break when I was driving back along the road but I've been beaten to it.

Number 2 ... Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom????

I tell myself it's just a quiz ... it's not personal ... but ... I think I'm beginning to think Dadaist is just out to get me! Should I be concerned?

Heh - I was trying to help you out without telling everyone else that you had found the right answer - and managed instead to put you off the scent! 7. is Moonraker so you get a point for that.

The pilot who had the parachute was Jaws - Rodge Moore nicks his parachute - but cos Jaws is nails he lands on a circus top and lives. Quite right.

Childhood hero of mine, Jaws, and when he helps out at the end of Moonraker he justly stepped into legend. Those were a well useful set of gnashers.

To be right you have to be, as Teddygirl pointed out, a "mind reader". It doesn't just have to be the right movie - it has to be the right movie what I was thinking of.

It's a bit of a movie cliche isn't it - the old "jumps out of plane with no parachute".

No I don't think so, that's True Lies. Commando is the one where his daughter is kidnapped.
