Interestingly (or maybe not), I have started to use the RSS feed to read the forum. This way the brave surfer can experience the full horror of the Porty Forum without the censorship.

Nothing - I don't think that's what she meant, McG!

Just wait til you read this one - it has been around for a while now on the web and is called "the sc_u_nthorpe problem" - for a while, AOL was refusing anyone from the town an account!

before you click on this link to get the whole story - you'll have to copy and paste it into your browser address bar and remove the space :

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scun thorpe_Problem

or just do a web search for this problem

same thing has happened to "Socialism" as it contains the word "cialis" which is a drug - the same as viagra - which spammers try and sell online

as Tommy Sheridan will tell you, there is no link whatsoever between lurid online sex and socialism, none, none whatsoever, it was all made up, don't know what you mean.

I'm sure Hockermouth is a lovely place.

I remember a place called Shilbottle, or something like that on the A1.
Someone's ammended the sign that takes the "l" out of Shilbottle and replaced it with a "t"......

Please don't talk to the lady like that.

The only nasty tones around here are coming from you so just keep a civil tongue in your head and you'll get along just fine.

Road signs that have been changed!!! As a person who never carries magic markers, paint or spray-cans ... why??? I mean, I can see the funny side ... but why are the "offenders" carrying these things in the first place? Have they PLANNED the change in advance that much? The mind boggles.

My favourite was over a bridge on the road coming from Glasgow .... it read "Glasgow's Miles Better" ... "than a small puddle"! :D

I liked the banner that read "Its Rudi Time" that was dangled from one of the M8 bridges on semi-final day. How wrong could they be?
