For the first time EVER, an original idea wins Eurovision. Okay, it was all pretty bad and the voting as corrupt as ever ... but Finland's choice WAS different! I guess Europe is not ready for Rap in the shape of the much-disliked UK. The Blair factor at work???

I don't mind admitting I watched it all. I have a heavy cold and can't go out drinking myself into a stupour ... and there was not much else I wanted to watch once Dr Who was over.

I also admit it made me feel very much sicker. Give me the drums of my ancestors in Africa any day above the claptrap Europe calls the best of its music.

No, Finland deserved to win ... It was more anarchic than the usual Euro-fare.

No I most certainly did NOT vote. If watching is bad and listening is worse, where does that put voting??? Nor do I know anyone who voted ... or who would admit to it.

Really like Lordi, but was out last night so didn't see it (couldn't have stomached 90% of it anyway - particularly the awful British entry). Saw them at the Download festival last year - really good.
Hopefully they might get something released in this country. Have some great songs but didn't seem to be much interest in them outside of the metal community.
