Scotland on film

Post by arachnid » 19 Mar 2006, 23:23

" Scotland on film" was all about Edinburgh and the Lothians tonight.
Wish I had taped it because Portobello was on it also!!!
Saw the ponies on the beach and the " Skylark"!
Also the outdoor swimming pool and the amusements
Brought back a few memories!!!
Musselburgh and North Berwick were also on it, as was Edinburgh itself, with the old trams!!!
Why be scared????

I watched this as well. It was excellent.
If you go to www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/history/scotlandonfilm you can get access to the film and radio clips for the show. The film clip "Portobello Days" by Robert Dalrymple is worth viewing.
Perhaps some of the techno., experts from radio free Porty or Portobelly Telly could transfer this information onto POL. I am afraid I wouldn't know where to start!
