Managed to muck up the taping of Egypt (BBC1 9:00). Both kids are extremely peed off with me. Has anyone got a copy I could borrow? Thanking you in antici...pation....

Froglette, I can watch it at anytime on Teleport so I could tape it for you....if no-one else has "one they made earlier" available.

Don't you have Telewest [sure there is a post from Mr Froglette suggesting this is the case?] If so, maybe it's on Replay or whatever it's called?

No, we gave it up a while back and now just have Freeview. Bearcub, if you can do the biz with your teleport thingy Froglette and the kids will be very grateful.

Can you pm froglette with pickup arrangements?

No, just tried and it works fine.

Think maybe you can't tape from the Movies section, although don't see why you shouldn't be able to when you've paid for it!

No, due to copyright and licensing restrictions, you can't record 'Teleport Movies' or programmes. If you do, they'll appear distorted when you try to play them back through your VCR or DVD player.

Must admit it seems daft that you can't record programmes from the old terrestrial stations, such as BBC and ITV. From Bearcub's experience, Telewest have obviously had a bit of a re-think.
