Can't listen in at work unfortunately.

Can't wait to hear JP's "legal" set and the Robert Fish Band get my vote for the name alone.

Why are they called The Robert Fish Band?
I googled them and not a one of them is called Robert Fish, so, what's the story?

They are very good musicians and I quite enjoyed the couple of numbers I heard though it's not really the kind of thing I'd generally listen to.

Busy old day on the emails. Stuff is starting to come back together, which is nice. Thanks to all of you. Whereas with the commercial stuff we got a lot of material quite quickly, just about everyone I have spoken to knows somebody who will be getting their cd to me or makes their own stuff. Things look like they are getting very interesting - as all of the stuff which will be coming in is original and unique.

JP's "want a nut" is now officially track 1 on my compilation of favourite new tracks I first heard on RFP.

Pace has his own and various other unsigned electronica coming - with a couple of very excited people backing him up / about to supply stuff.

Protest songs, poetry, dream analysis.

It'll be great to have so much original free music by the time we're allowed to re-introduce some commercial product.

Then we will have to have scheduling discussions hehe

I sat patiently through far too much ceilidh/folkie music to hear that "NUT" number.
It was worth it.

I liked the Peter Hall stuff. Kind of reminded me of Crowded House which is a good thing, no?
