On My Holidays.......

8) 8) 8) ...therefore posting from the deepest, darkest depths of the Lake District. Actually, isn't dark at all, the sun has been shining for two whole days. Had a lovely day at Bassenthwaite Lake today which looked for all the world like Lake Placid - we got a bit worried when the old woman appeared with the tethered cow and walked towards the shore.........(ok, that bit was a lie  ) Bob, if you want any more Waberthwaite sausage let us know by tomorrow lunchtime!

Not on this occasion thanks. I'm heading in that general direction myself tomorrow - back to Kielder Forest for a few days. I'm taking the laptop but not sure if I will be able to connect to the outside world.

Try to be good while I'm away.

Sitting here at Prombabe's computer looking out of the window at a field full of cows (all bums facing me at the same time, is this significant, like them lying down if it's going to rain?), rolling fields, loads of sparrows and listening to RadioFreePorty (uninterrupted because it doesn't cut out every 40 seconds - and thoroughly enjoying JP by the way!). Just like being at home really except for the absence of buses, building work, barking dogs, motorbikes and seagulls :D

You're right Sandra! However, since the executive suite comprises the couch in the living room, to be shared with the cat, fishbowl pump and 4 dogs within spitting distance, along with Prommy's hubby being a postie and her shouting 'see you later' at 8.15 - there wasn't much choice! :D
