Marion McHendry b. 1902

If anyone thinks they can help with this please get in touch:
I am searching for a Marion McHendry who was living at 4 Rosefield Avenue in 1937. She was then 35 years old.

Unfortunately I cannot find anything on Scotlandspeople etc. because of the 100 year rule Scotland has.

I would be interested to know of any other route I could take to find obviously her death. She was unmarried in 1937.

It is a very unusual name and quite easy to search which makes a change.

If you could steer me in a direction to find her death (I am trying to find a survivor of this family) I would appreciate it very much.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth

Hi Elizabeth,

Have you tried the Local Parish Records?

St. John's RC Portobello
St. James Church of Scotland - Portobello
St. Phillip's Joppa

there are a few other church's in the area, for the life
of me, I can't remember the names at the moment.

I am sure someone on this site, will come up with some other
suggestions.

Good Luck

Registers of Scotland might be able to chase her up if she owned the house at that time

If the people in that house have the title deeds it might have some names on or at least the date the house was sold (if she owned it).
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Elizabeth

You can access deaths up to 1954 on Scotlandspeople but it is unlikely that Marion Mchendry had died by that year. Have you looked at the web site of the General Register Office of Scotland? That is where all deaths in Scotland are registered and the site gives useful information about making enquiries.
