We couldn't manage to get along as eldest offspring is still not really up to much, so glad to see some pics.

Can't believe we have got to Tuesday evening and noone has said a massive public well done to everyone who was involved in organising the Porty Party on Sunday. I thought it was excellent. Lovely feel. Great music. Beautiful weather. Portobello at its best.

Congratulations.

I second that. An event of this magnitude takes a massive amount of work to organise, so congrats to the Triathlon organisers, to Joe Madden and his PODpeople, to Portobello Rotary Club for their part, to all the performers, to Portobello Community Council for their generous assistance and to everyone else involved for making it such a fantastic day.

People may not have posted to say so, but everyone I have spoken to has been full of praise. From 8:30 am when the Triathlon got under way to closing time at the Dalriada, a lot of people had a lot of fun and the sunshine was a bonus.

Volunteers are now being sought to put on an even bigger and better event next year. All offers of help to joemadden@blueyonder.co.uk

More photos from Sunday. Did anyone else spot the four-legged candy floss?

The candy floss dog lives on the High Street near Woodwares!
