I was just wondering how dull or uncontroversial a thread has to be to generate NO replies. For example is this one dull enough?

Definitely not.

But on the first page, Porty has the highest number of posts with no reply, so actually maybe he's our expert?

There's those that do and those that don't. Not every thread is designed to elicit a response, don't you know? Mind you it can be lonely when no-one takes notice. i always feel i must acknowledge and respond.
