A small group of 3 friends recently attended an event. These people could not be described as best mates but they had hung out, including holidays together, over a period of more than 20 years. None of them could be described as rich but they are not exactly struggling either. Anyway, it was about £13 to gain entrance and the third person had decided a few hours before that he would go along. The 3 had a few drinks beforehand and a few more after gaining entry. The original 2 members of the group had a 2 for 1 voucher, which meant that they could gain entry for £6.50 each. However, this would leave their friend having to pay the full £13. On the other hand they had saved £2.16 each because if they had suggested just sharing the £26 total entry fee then everybody would have had to pay £8.66.
What would you have done had you been one of the 2 holders of the 2 for 1 voucher?

That is quite a straight forward one. If you all arrive together then all the costs should be shared - even if you are only aquaintances never mind friends.

Justice delayed is justice denied.
