Town Hall Banner

Rush outside in about 20 minute's time and gaze in wonder at the Portobello Online banner on the Town Hall.

For ex-pats, for whom this will be difficult, it looks a bit like this:

Who is going to be first to photograph it and post it on the forum? On your marks...

To be honest, what I really had in mind was something that could be seen from space. Or perhaps we could project our logo onto the moon?

Well, perhaps not the moon but I did have an idea to project the logo onto the side of the Miami Beach building at one time.

You may have noticed that the POL banner has been missing from the Town Hall for the past few months. In fact, it was just re-instated this afternoon. It's a long story and I shan't bore you with the details, but it's good to see it back up again, although it is looking a little worse for wear after its confinement in the broom cupboard.

I'm sure the banner is appreciated by one and all (appreciate! appreciate!) ... but didn't Bob go over the edge years ago???

The PoL banner is certainly better looking than the new Sizzlers (Select) sign.
