Twixt Woolies and Castle Bar,

Withoot Ma or Pa.

Andrew Motion must be shaking in his Poet Laureate shoes!!

Poppy takes an unfair tilt at our local laureate who has produced a passable haiku. Andrew Motion will not be quaking in his shoes because for all the years I have known Andy he has always worn these non leather vegan type sandals. He has also fought shy of tackling Haikus and confessed that he found them "devilishly difficult". I rather think that Poppy ,when it comes to poetry,can't tell a Haiku from a terza rima.( Sorry Poppy you will have to look that up)
