What did I miss?

Post by Jay » 15 Mar 2005, 17:13

Jay,

I was trying to find the thread on which this phenomenon was discussed but drew a blank.
I can't remember what the explanation for it was - something technical and beyond my ken I think, rather than real hits. But I could be wrong.
Anyone else recall?

Yeah, but in the end thinking it was real visitors felt better :) It's was a bunch of Yanks looking for haggis on Burns' Night...

(oh, MSN Search was also pretty aggressively adding pages to their search index at that time)

Damn! What a swizz! I was hoping everyone had got home inebriated from a POL night out and had all gone online!

Thanks for enlightening me wangi, ecm :D

Incidentally, wangi, I've never said that I love the rotating (revolving?) headers to the site, too. Superb pictures. =D> =D> =D> =D>

Well Jane done all the graphics work on the images, and half the photos are hers... And Paul's been hard at work on the main site... So, it's not an individual effort by any means!

The images are random, but I'm sure that "FUNPA RK" is coming up the most for me!

See when I read that Funpark sign I'm sure there is an 'I' in it - I thought at first it was a phonetic spelling...

:) I wondered who'd be the first to notice that! I reset it this morning.
