I have just been alerted to this site, which provides a similar service to MyHousePrice, except it is free, really easy to use and quite up to date.

Excellent

I've just been looking for this type of site but only managed to find English property sales prices.
Thanks, Porty!

there was an article about the site and the guy who set it up in last Sunday's paper. The guy is Edinburgh-based and I bet he was soooo fed-up with the offers-over-the-unrealistic-asking-price system that he got his ass in gear and set up the site.
and,as Sandra said, it's always good for a nosy

I see the Scotland on Sunday are doing a promo this Sunday (funny eh) offering 10 free searches to find out prices...
... and they featured my house (and next) door on the TV advert. Grmpfff.

that's what it says on the site - info from the Registers of Scotland. Wonder how they can afford to put it on the internet for free?

Ooops, sorry about that. I'll change it to £21,000,000 first thing Monday.
