By the narrowest of margins it's Sat 12 March for dinner at Sizzlers. I hope whoever voted for the previous Sat (PoP?) can still make the preferred date.
I now need confirmed numbers so could you please post below if you are definitely going to be there and indicate whether you are bringing anyone else along with you. I will then make the booking and let you know if a deposit is required. Is 7pm OK with everyone?
Hope to get it all sorted out by the weekend, so let me know ASAP.

I think it may have been me. I will be struggling to make the 12th as its a Rugby weekend and we have a big match the next day against Wales. PoP and I have guests coming from afar and I can't see us making it along.Bob Jefferson wrote:By the narrowest of margins it's Sat 12 March for dinner at Sizzlers. I have booked a table for ten people. If anyone else wants to join us please let me know as soon as possible. Because it's a large group they have asked us to give them our menu choices in advance. This will make life easier for them and should ensure better service for us, so it's in our mutual interest. They have also asked for a £10 deposit per person.
So, over the next week or so could you please pick up an 'a la carte' menu and choose a starter and main course. You can post your choices here or send me a private message. I'm not sure what to have. Any recommendations?
The deposit. So you didn't like having to announce your username at the Dalriada?
This time, to save you the embarrassment, I have allocated everyone a number as follows:
Bob - 1
Marya - 2
foxy - 3
Beach Babe - 4
Dadaist - 5
Epykat - 6
DG - 7
Mr DG - 8
Bellybabe - 9
The table is booked under the name Jefferson. All you have to do is hand over your tenner along with your number.

Went in today and paid my deposit. Asked for a menu and was told that you had taken one Bob and that you were going to 'photocopy one for us?? I'll go back and just look at the menu in the restaurant, when my head is clearer and I am capable of making a decision.
BTW Mr Sizzler senior was very keen to talk about a charming young couple, with the most perfect baby, who had been in and were also coming on the night out. Emily has obviously wowed him as he was heaping compliments on her. He said she had the sweetest nature of any child he had met
I said that she took after her mother

Im feeling left out, even although I cant make it along. One of my bestest friends is arriving from the US tomorrorw for a week of drunken, rugby related debauchery. Not that we are the typical rugger b uggers, no, no no, we are much more sophisticated than that.
I suppose there is an outside chance of me putting in a sozzled Sizzlers appearance. However, after a long day drinking and rugby watching. I don't think it would be a pretty sight.

7 o'clock?
Bob, what were you thinking?!
I don't think I can be there that early, and I suspect other people with very young children might struggle too.
I'll just get there as soon as I can.

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!
