I thought they were still together. Surely we would have heard about it if they got divorced or does tammy like to keep that sort of thing private?

Yes, those kind of words would make me cry - with sentiment, I meant, before Porty, or someone, says something.

I may have heard some of George Jones' songs, without knowing who I was hearing. Where I was living in the 70's, the only 'English' station I could get was AFR, but I got to like the country hour every day. I also often use one of their sign 'off signatures 'The good Lord willin' and the creek don't rise' .....

Hey, even I knew Tammy Wynette was dead!

CatzVP - at least I think it's you (Is man the dream of the dolphin) - Enigma, from the second album?

Now that does sound like the esteemed Mr Bush...

Close! It was Pat Robertson, 1992. You know, back in the dark ages.

um, I think 12 years must be too long ago for my braincells.

I certainly remember the dark ages (79 - 97) but not Pat Robertson?

(hey theres a mysterious Da Vinci-like symmetry to those dates, I think I feel a book coming on...)

He's the chap that wanted to buy one of the Scottish banks in 1999 and there was a mass protest because of the man's...er...less than complimentary views about women and gay people. He's a US politician.
Kind of similar to Dubya. If only we didn't have a profanity filter, think of the things that initial might stand for...

Its pretty disappointing that the future of the world for the next four years was decided by the redneck states... Canadian news mentioned that immigration has been flooded with Americans wanting entry into Canada after the dismay of loosing the election :?

Your signature is from one of my favourite poems - practically every line is a quotable one, but the whole is brilliant!

Did anyone see the article in the Independent that showed a map of the states where slavery was most prominent and compared it too a map of the States Bush won in 2004? Practically identical.
