I think its 20% off the lot. its a brilliant deal.

Is there a dress code? Will there be dribbling down the chin, dropping ones bottle and gibberish spoken. I hope not. We dont want to be setting a nad example to neo-dadaist.

I think it's 25%, I was there with some girls from work last Saturday night and we've got council cards too. With bringing your own bottle it certainly made it a very cheap night ( and if you're a numpty like me and didn't bring a bottle and shared someone else's then it's cheaper still

Well after all that planning we manage to crawl to precisely one pub. Even then we would likely have stayed in the Plough had Demon Eye, who had more equipment than Machine Mart, hadn't need the space we were sitting in.

Hat off to Seanie who represented the entire POL membership on a one man pub crawl as he tried to locate us.

He still had fun tho.

It was a really enjoyable evening even if we didn't crawl very far. I'd even go as far as to say it was totally civilised...must have been because Bob wasn't there to badly influence us

A wee bit older mostly. It's funny but once you meet someone the reality replaces the imagined image!!

I thought Porty was tall, slim and blonde. Imagine my shock and horror to find out that I already knew Porty and so knew how very very wrong that image was

Isn't he a such a sweetie? I quite fell for him - and I'm a cat person usually.

I like dogs like I like people - individually. Whereas I love ALL cats indiscriminately!!

I had a great time - Porty told me I'm not affectionate, Poppy told me my cat's going deaf, and I thought I was in the twilight zone when I asked Homer if he'd enjoyed the special port he had with his meal with his american friends, and he said something like, "What port, what meal, and what friends?"...

I got no pappadums, had crisps for me tea in the Forries, I didn't manage to turn any gay boys straight, and Sandra and Bearcub didn't fall over once.

Unfortunately the "get-away-from-the-dreadful-loud-rock-music" concept prejudiced a thorough search.

The music in the Dalriada was very nice mind.
