I don't think you're taking this thread seriously. Then again, did you heat up the carrion in your new, state of the art, carrion friendly kitchen?

PS - how's the hand?
Yes Epykat, I did, once I'd scraped it up off the road.

My hand is ok now thanks, although I was unable to pleasure myself for a couple of days.

By the way, will you now be able to be found propping up the bar at The Elwin?

JP.

Isn't it rotten when you can't pick your nose yourself?

Unlikely. You just don't get the same class of POL member up there to buy you drinks

Lunch disaster.

Bought quiche pie from Greggs on Easter Road. Quality merchandise, quality venue.

Nibbled round pie crust - walking past Calton Centre. Crossed road.

Pie now flush, albeit still wee bitty hot.

Began eating eggy quichy bit, forming pie into semi-circle. Bonus of this pie was that the slice of tomato was in fact the endy bit of the tomato.

Some adventures with stringy melted cheese, several nice mouthfuls, pie now forming easy-to-handle semi-circle shape.

Was just about reaching fag-end-of-tomato when ...

DROPPED PIE.

Pie splatted on jeans and ground where its consistency, shape and trajectory caused it to spread over quite a wide impact area.

AIR TURNED BLUE.

Wiped trousers. This incident took place on Montgomery Street just past the old bowling green.

This is almost as traumatic as when I dropped my smoked sausage *without having bitten into it*. Almost, because I also had a sausage and beans pastie comforter.

Aaaaaawwwww! You poor guy! That's just the WORST!!!

Can I ask how blue the air turned???

I remember doing things like that ... Kebabs, Chippy black puddings, macaroni pies ...

I commiserate with you. It's so not nice! :(

Haven't had time for lunch today yet!!! We've had a bit of a disaster here today too, but not with food!!!!
Noticed a puddle on the floor next to my computer( no I hadn't had a little accident!!! ) The fish tank next to me had stared to leak!! So it was panic stations before the whole place got flooded 8-[ Luckily it was Mr. Arachnid's day off so quickly shouted on him for help!!! The leak stopped about three quarters the way down the tank, so panic over!!! Quick trip to the pet shop to get a new tank and the fish will soon have a new home!!! :)
Now Mr. Arachnid has noticed a nail in the car tyre and is supposed to be taking his brother and wife to the airport this afternoon!! So another panic!!! He's now gone to try and get a replacement!!! He's just come back so yet another panic over!!!! Wonder what will happen next!!!!
Now I'm going to have some lunch!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
Why be scared????

I was wondering what happened to that missing batch of exclamation marks.
