Oh Foxy, you are awful!
(must confess I saw nipples in the second shot)
Here's another set I've selected from Penny's collection that would make an attractive triptych:

A wee spider in his web after the rain tonight. Arachnid might appreciate it.

I wondered why I was feeling a bit strange yesterday and then I saw it. It was huge.

Lit the first fire of the year last night.
We've got piles of fuel left over from last years mild winter - peat, logs, coal and kindling have all been in the cupboard under the stairs for a year!

It hasn't combusted yet. Tonight when I re-light my fire (your love is my only de-sire) I'll be sure and feel how warm that corner is getting and report back.
Thanks for your concern.

As well as Northumberland, Cumbria and North Yorkshire, we also visited Co. Durham:

Yeah, I know it's a long time since I've posted. And this is **shameless** self promotion. But, what the hey:
My new photography website is
here. Feel free to visit. Just a few photos so far, but I'm aiming for around 100 by the end of the year.
My old website has gone to the great archive in the sky.
I don't believe in Beatles.

Gorgeous.
What are those orange bag-things in 931 (second-last) ?
The colours of the lines of rock on those hills are charming. I bet the local geologists have a field day!

I second Dada's comments!
And bring down the tone to a more mundane level. Took this today in Selkirk (looks a bit like Portly now I look closely!!

Nah, I'm a lot shorter and my nose isn't quite so long and turnied-up. Plus, purple's never been my colour.

Re Wangi photos of Wyoming. I was in touch with my cousin (ex Potobello lass) who's livng in Texas at the moment and suggested they look at the photos as I knew her hubby had been in Wyoming in the snow. Here's part of her reply..
C tells me that the red things in the Wyoming picture are the bags that the helicopter drops and the crew picks them up and places them in position. So it’s the “drop zoneâ€
