I'm not sure if it's out of focus. It was shot in poor light - meaning the iris was open slightly longer and my hand must have moved a fraction.
And anyway, the focus wasn't the focus - it was the multiple quotation of said reproduction.

That's what I thought too.

Last pic looks like the shadow of a cowboy come to town without his horse.

Beautifully sharp and focused image, Arachnid - and so vivid for such a small image size.
Was that "macro" focus on your camera? What did you use to get the image "web sized" - or did your camera do it.
(V. cute, Poppy, btw)

Slight confession to make!!
My son took the pic of the eringum with the macro and I put it onto " Photobucket", then downloaded it from there. But I will do it the next time to see if I can do it all by myself!!!
I did take the pic of the gazzanias though with the camera in " auto" mode

( very adventurous !!!)

Why be scared????

Favourite weather: sun & overcast clouds. The rain belted down soon after.

Wow! Great definition. I'm sure if you ask nicely at the next scan they might let you hook up a firewire connection and d/l some of that video footage. Prime time viewing on Portobelly Telly.
Best wishes and congrats to you both.

Thanks everyone for your kind comments.
Before the scan, you got in trouble in our house if you said the word twins.
Although with the lovely Neo-Dadaist still of a certain age, we are in the market for a double-buggy which I have been taking a (not literally, yet) crash course in.
As far as I've learned, the posh one is by "Ben & Jerry" and you don't want a Mugaboo. I think.
