Well, we're back to rain, but at least it's the weekend. What's everyone up to? I'm going to see 'Black Watch' tonight and really looking forward to it having read some of the reviews.

Well, it didn't disappoint. A truly fantastic show. Audience gave the cast a well deserved standing ovation. If you only see one show in the Festival make it this one.

TGIF!!
Long first week back after being away.
Bess is doing fine, she survived the kennels (though has lost lots of weight, wish I could say the same........

)
Just having some vino to remind us of sitting outside in the sun having drinks.

Holidays are great, and I've not got the holiday blues yet.
Just planning our next one!
How's everyone else's Friday?

Everything packed and ready to move! My voice reverberates around the hollow house. First thing tomorrow ... dismantle TV, Vid, DVD ... then computer!
My Fridays sucks ... Saturday better not!!!

POP and I are off on a work night out. Everyone else has had to call off for personal reasons. We had a brief discussion as to whether we should carry on regardless.
The brief discussion involved one of us saying "will we bother" and the other staring back with a look that was across between "are you mental?" and bewilderment.

Had a half-day today to go for an extended lunch with a few friends. Went to Le Monde (first time since it opened, for me), and had a very tasty, but not that cheap, lunch. Beef Carpaccio followed by Crab Linguine washed down with some Prosecco

.
Just waiting now for S to come back from a hair appointment so we can crack open a Friday night bottle of wine.....or two.

Ugh, I'm so jealous of you all. Yes, even Marya, whose boredom has reached such depths. I wish i could waste time like that...
I'm trying to start writing an essay on Existentialism. What's the point?
I think I should instead choose to open a bottle of wine (especially as a nice chap just delivered 26 bottles), but I'm all alone, and what would that mean, really?

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

The highlight of my weekend is going to be breaking in my new Doc Martens!
Well I'm supposed to be on a diet, no call that healthy eating plan, so no chocolate, alcohol, cake, chips, fun...
Lost a stone but many, many to go.

...wot....checking out DC again...hmmm
I still have a long busy day ahead but the fact that it's Friday makes it feel a bit less stressful. No plans yet for tonight but there may be drink involved
