Poor Clee, your special day hijacked.

Bet you got a lot of" it's your Christmas and birthday combined presents" I know a couple of peeps with birthdays on 26th Dec and always try and acknowledge both days.

I wanted an exocet for my birthday but didn't get one. Would have only used it for car alarms that go off in the middle of the night. Or birds that tweet really loudly at 5 am. Or....

What's worse is "Merry Christmas" ... and "Oh by the way ... Happy Birthday!"

I have a word for people like that ... but ...

1) I can't use it on the board because of filters

and

2) If my mother found out I'd get a clip round the ear.

You do NOT dare disobey She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed!!

If I took home three girls and said I was going to marry one of them ... she'd guess the right one ... cos it would be the one she didn't like! :(

25th is my father-in-law's birthday too, cleopas. Two years ago he made sure it was a memorable day by having a heart attack twenty minutes before I served Christmas and birthday dinner. Before, note - before, before anyone makes any wise ass comments on my cooking... Anyway, sorry you don't like sharing your birthday with Christmas, but here's hoping you never have a birthday and Christmas as bad as my FIL's!
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

Then HE'LL know where I'm coming from! HE'LL tell you!!!

Unless it's just me!!!

Sorry to hear about his heart attack and I hope he is much better now.

About Christmas dinner .... did he maybe expect a sacrifice or a burnt offering??

Last year, my mother's Christmas dinner wasn't so much cordone bleu as cordoned off!!!

You could do what I know many others who have their birthday on Christmas Day, have a mid year birthday (say in the summer) then you won't feel left out on Christmas Day when you only get one present from everyone?? Result.

Been told that a lot, Sandra ... but it just wouldn't feel right. Would YOU want your birthday changed?? It's not about feeling left out. It's the SHARING!!!

I know some people with a birthday on New Years Day think like I do.

Maybe we're all just eejits?? :D I dunno.

Think PoP is having a pretty good time judging by this message I got on my phone earlier with the caption 'Xmas shopping'. (To explain, Homer promised me he was going to spend this afternoon thoughfully selecting the most apt present for me, but he's gotten a little sidetracked by the looks of things  )
