Wouldn't be a proper Murrayfield visit without a visit to the pub

I'm picking Flearoy up at the station for one of her increasingly rare visits home from UNI. Will probably show her where the new schools are going to be and then go out for a curry.

Are you taking her for a curry too or just deserting her at the Park?!
Also, her visits may be increasingly rare

, but that's not really such a bad thing for her as it means (a) she's maybe studying which is easier at university than at home and (b) she's probably enjoying university life - I'd be worried if she was running home every weekend!

She's probably trying to avoid her Dad and his delusions about schools in the woodland with the rabbits and ponies....... enjoy your curry Flearoy - and make him pay for a starters and dessert too!

Would not put anything past that Epy, but I deny that preposterous calumny!
It would be as bad as watching BB*!

You saved yourself just in time there, Pops.
And as for this:
Catz - how on earth did you sneak into the country/city/suburb and sneak a photie of Bellybabes's wine rack????????? Shocked
been twitching the curtains again?

Just because The Cat man and I occassionally share a transatlantic bottle or seventy doesn't mean there's any reason for
GOSSIP AND TITTLE TATTLE!
Porty - your taking your long lost daughter to the Freightliner Terminal for a good Friday night out?

All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

I have just had one of the most stressed and problematic weeks at work on record. I am having a very large glass of chilled white something or other before meeting some friends in Centotre. Boy am I going to be tired and emotional later

Only if I can remortgage my house first. Unless the prices have come down and the service improved since last time I was there...

Alive and kicking, just been out and about
Starting the evening early with a nice glass of fetzler syrah rose, very yummy, we cleared the shelf of the 2004 vintage at Morrison this morning

(after having cleared Haddows out)
Planning on going to Body Attack tommorow at 9.15am to burn it off though

I thought it had become very quiet here too, thought it was maybe me that had that effect on everyone!!!
Unlike you all, I gave up working a few years ago, so every day is like friday to me, it's wonderful being a lazy " good for nothing layabout" living off my husband's money!!!

Why be scared????

I've just dragged myself off the settee where I have been lying watching telly since about 5.30

. Wouldn't be so bad if there'd been anything decent to watch

The sun is streaming in through the door.
Everyone walking past falls into one of two distinct groups: those zooming *down* the road full of excitement about the sea and sand, and those walking *up* the road slowly, reluctantly, slightly burnt, dragging small screaming children who don't want to go home..

Lock up your sons - Sunnyporty's daughter Epyniece the Naughty is having her hen weekend up here

. We will of course be leaving the Chi Wai in a sober and stately manner to sedately make our way quietly into town for tea and scones and be back, in bed, at about 10pm tomorrow night. Any teetotal lady POLers are, of course, welcome to join us ....
In anticipation of this event - I will be staying in tonight
