Ta. The first was shot in RAW... So I had a play round with various tools in order to "develop" it. Hmmm, need to get a faster computer to go with the new camera!

I'm curious to know Wangi, were you lying flat on the wet pavement to take that second shot?

I would have been... If it wasn't for the steps down to somebody's basement flat!

Outstanding geometry on the flare on the streetlight on that first pic.
Yes, it's a violent game - it's an online game called Battlefield 2. That picture (well, screenshot) is just after I blew up somebodys nice tank with my pesky RPG.

You should have kept that one for Valentines day as it will probably be the only rose that some of us get.

Most beaches have deckchairs for sitting on. Why does Porty have to go one better?

Excellent! What a comfy way to sit and watch the tide come and go.

One would assume that TVC is the name of his "Crew" of associates who spray their "tags" elsewhere, and that his individual moniker is "Spek". But that is just a bit of spekulation. (sik)

Forget a pier, a lighthouse is where it's at
Yesterday being the windiest day of the year I decided to got for a walk along Seton Sands and Longniddry Bents... Perfect weather for it after all...
However my favourite wasn't a windswept shot, no... I could have got it any day:

I can just picture the poor girl being led to the beach on valentines day
And following on from that I came across this on Beach Lane today:

Nice pics Wangi - I love that bit of Leith in the last one and we often do a circuit starting at Truva, going along the shore, over that bridge and behind the SE - although I think you've gone much further than us - for example in the dockyard bit behind Ocean Terminal. Just wait til you have a buggy to push!
It'll be even nicer on the waterfront during the summer - I can't wait to be able to stroll round there without turning blue.
Do you do the Water Of Leith walkway? I've only ever been as far up as the modern art gallery.

I've just been sent this link to historical photos of Portobello on the St Andrews Uni photographic archive. I think this may have been posted before. There are 118 items in total, including postcards and personal photographs.
