Have adopted Stella 568ml cans as new training regime - they're very fulfilling and don't have the wee bit, "I thought there was some left?" thing going on.

Hate it when the wee bottles get empty!!!

I had a glass of dry rose that I brought back from Greece last month. It doesn't seem to travel or age well. Seemed a good idea at the time. 2.90 euros for 1.5 litres?! And in a plastic bottle to go in the suitcase. Real class that.
Back to the mint tea for me.

Had lots of Caiparinhas (sp?) when we were on holiday, and lovely they were too......but haven't managed to have one that comes close to it since coming back......definitely tastes better sitting in a beachside bar with the sounds of the waves lapping, and the 90 degree sun beating down on you, funny that. :D 8)

Right so I need to bump up the central heating. open the window to get the sound of the waves. But where do I get that great Greek essential - the flatulent goat?

The wine will still lack that  nuance. Is now the time to say I had a very sober holiday? Only drank the free stuff.ie whe we met the rep- oh and that tour of the winery where sis -who doesn't drink poured her share into my glass... wonder when it seemed a good idea to buy the stuff.

Strange note slightly off topic. On the way out of the Uk we couldn't take anything liquid in our hand luggage. But coming from Greece we were not allowed anything in glass in the suitcase so it was 3 bottles of wine and some ouzo in the hand luggage- no problem . Jars of olives -no problem . On way out - Lipstick????!!! Please take your shoes off and be searched over there......

yes definitely found that at Edinburgh Airport on the way out it was really strict, no liquids, shoes through the security scanner etc but on the way back, I had water in my hand luggage, but the security staff were more keen on getting everyone through security at top speed.

Must admit did miss having lip balm/lipstick/hand cream/moisturiser in hand luggage.

Read this week that they are looking at no alcohol being allowed in the cabin and only 100ml of perfume being allowed. In Metro was an idea of tagging everyone flying

As a semi-nervous flyer this goes down well, not.

On 3rd camomile tea and it's not working. Normally 1 cup and it's zzzz. No bother. It's Twinnings Camomile,Vanilla and Honey as I cant stand the smell of camomile on it's own.
Perhaps I should have tried more Greek wine or any wine for that matter

Have you tried Valerian tea, Soupy? When I had trouble sleeping for a long time I used to take a Valerian supplement which worked like a dream (!), and now other half drinks Valerian tea and it seems to work better than the chamomile.
All I really need is love, but a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt!

Might give valerian tea a try. Any where local I can buy it?
The camomile, honey and vanilla usually works, think my brain was anticipating being up late to watch the meteor shower which couldn't be seen for the clouds.

Meal was great, wine great and company even greater!!!

Maybe it was the wine!!! But there was actually Christmas lights up in the town ready for the big lighting up of in December!!!! And one of them was lit and "flashing" away for all to see!!!
