Wedding was great fun, thanks, Rapunzell. I was glad I had decided on not wearing black, however, as it was 30C. I was grateful to my hat for providing some shade!

The big hit of of our family was our son in his full kilt outfit - he's decided now that it is a sure fire way to get a lumber!

Marya
We were at a wedding yesterday at Oxenfoord Castle - it was lovely and didn't rain. :D There were lots of lady guests dressed in black! I think these days anything goes at weddings.

It was a great day, though suffering a bit today :(

There was a wedding in the church across the road, two or three weeks ago and the bride was dressed in white with black embroidery, the bridesmaids were in similar dresses but cream with black embroidery, the flower girls dresses were all black and the father of the bride was in black kilt and jacket.
Each to their own I say but there were some elderly ladies standing next to me and they were tut tutting a bit.

You certainly wouldn't have looked out of place at that wedding Marya, if you'd worn your little black number there.

That kilt outfit is getting really popular. We always rent Matt's kilt outfit from Ian at 'Top Hat' and over the last year or so, his stock of black kilts has grown considerably as demand for them has risen.

The bridesmaids at the wedding we were attending Teddygirl, wore grey :? and carried red roses (the groom is a Liverpool fan  ).

Glad you had good weather for the wedding you attended Sandra. We've been away for the last two weeks, but I believe we didn't miss much weather wise.
