My dad leaves the snails beer in an open container, which they willingly dive into - they absolutely love it and he has all but eradicated his snail population this way. And I guess the snails enjoy their last fling.

Do you buy the beer in specifically (I'm thinking Tesco white can with blue label here), or do you use real beer?!?

Actually... I bought some of that Traquair Jacobite ale the other week and ended up putting half of it down the sink - would have been ideal at 8%

Walking along the Prom this afternoon I thought about a lovely wee farmers market on the wide bit next to the pool or along at the community garden -not enough footfall though....just dreaming.
