Recently asked to sing by the manager of a pretty-darn-well famous blues and jazz band. Thought about it but don't think lounge life is for me. Too fast track. Not enough time for my hobbies and my entrapunerial investments. I'll have to be content to burn a CD, softly humming poetic rythm.

(By the way, on my parents grave, I don't think I've ever had the pleasure of personally meeting anyone from Scotland. So the question is how did I end up on this forum? I was invited by YOU KNOW WHO! )

No that isn't true. I signed up like everyone else here and was sent via an email that I was welcomed. I have the letter in my yahoo email account. And I also have the document of you inviting me to join RFP too. And I have a message from Maria that we shouldn't discuss this anymore on this message board.

True! I don't know what happened over on RFP, but I don't want it to be continued on here. Please use the pm system instead to sort out differences.

Thanks.

Do you have any constructive comments to add to this topic "Memories of "The Hammie" other than what you have written? Why do you like the Hammie?

Thanks

Yeah, c'mon Dada. Tell us why you like the Hammie. Better still, write us a beautiful poem about it.
I can think of lots of words that rhyme with Hammie. PM me if you need any help with it.

I'm from the christians
my name is Sammy
My mothers called Ruth
She's f@*$ing bammy.

We still live in Porty
right next door to Cammy
he's had a little girl
They called it Tammy.

She goes to nursery
Where they teach her origami
Tammy's not to keen
She much prefers Salami.

Her nursery school is on the prom
Tammy remembers when she went in her prammy.
Its the place where men used to have a wee drammy.
Yes you guessed it its the Hammie.

It must not be a five star hotel
since every one I've been to has a bar
then again
who said I loved the old hammie
when I've never ever been there
but one thing is for sure
freddie star won't be
hugging the curves with me
in a TESLA!

The Hammie Lodge it used to be
It was pure, dead magic
But then it turned into a hoose
And the decor's pretty tragic
Enough of your nonsense - get back to the Play Pen!

Have you not seen the trailer for the new Harry Potter film - The new Headmistress denies the existence of 'he who cannot be named'. 8)
