Minimum shops game

...me too, but if pushed I would have to choose:-

Sainsburys... for food and drink, toiletries, some clothes, books, cd's cards, newspapers, petrol, flowers

John Lewis for cosmetics, clothes, shoes, furniture, stationery, electrical items and general household bits and bobs. Life would become more expensive though because the kids clothes are much better value in places like New Look, Logo etc

I suppose I would still need pubs, a garage for repairs/ MOT and Homebase for the odd can of paint

I would really miss M&S, shoe shops, Boots, book shops, card shops and just shopping in general, in fact I feel quite depressed just thinking about it

Hm. Would Mrs N be shopping at Ann Summers because the Greggs shopping has left you unable to...er...keep as fit as you would be without shopping at Greggs?

As I said "in my ideal world". If truth be told I rarely shop at Greggs unless I am tempted by a roast beef roll. Because of the demands put upon it my body is a temple, I'll have you know. I have worn some strange things in my time but I must confess a yum yum is not one of them. One of these days maybe. Anyway back to the thread. I am still convinced that I could survive with a big supermarket and a big DIY store but I really like the idea of having the added bonus of Fopp which, in my opinion, is the best shop in the world.
