By now he should have his very own personal supply of Findlay's famous pork and black pudding sausages. You may wish to remind him that, should he desire more, Findlay's offer a mail order service.Bellybabe wrote:My brother came all the way from Derbyshire for that moment of being part of a crowd on Porty High street and some of those Findlays sausages we were all promised.
I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to those residents in the vicinity of the Police Station. Tonight the clock bell will again be bonging until midnight. I arrived around 5 pm to switch it back to normal operating hours to find that the place was closed up. Hope to get sorted tomorrow.

Happy New Year to you all.
Had a very quiet one as still feeling no weel and we were too cosy to move out into the wet windy weather. Watched fireworks from the windows though
All the Clangers were out so it was just me and Mr Soupy at the Bells.
Then Clanger 4 arrived with his pals from a few doors up. Bit of confusion as to who was coming in first, with me telling my red headed son he should be at back of queue. ( Seems in parts of Yorkshire though its considered very lucky to have a red head first foot)
Most years up til now we've shoved Clanger 2, tall, darkish, handsome ( I'm his mother I'm allowed to be biased) out the door with a lump of coal a bottle of whiskey etc before 12. The number of years that poor lad has stood in the cold as we toasted in the year. No wonder he went up to pals house this year!

Messalina
(she sighs) Yes, it does, CatzVP. I refer you to the "First Love" thread. The only think missing from there is my adult love-life and that is not open to anyone, though it has been pretty colourful. You can of course, speculate all you want. I've never been called anything my mother didn't say first. Let's just say, I'm not called Messalina without reason and if I like guys - so what? The bf at present knows his position is always precarious. I like to keep it that way, since you never know .............
That's why I love Portobello .......... there's always more pebbles on the beach, fish in the sea etc, etc.
And a Happy New Year to you too ... now let's move on.

Aye...Happy New to all.
I had a fantastic Christmas in Denmark, where I met my future wifes' folks (who were brill) and discovered the delights of Copenhagen.
One things for sure, the Danes know how to enjoy Christmas!
That was something special...

Thank you!
The wedding's in May - we are trying to find a Church in Porty that will marry us. But don't wan't to have to go every Sunday.....(having to join the gang).
We are not really that religious, just Christian - but not Church goers.
So it may be the registry office.......
