Good point, well made.
Meatloaf will do anything for love. And I mean anything.
However he still claims that he won't do - y'know - that.
And I bet he couldn't see Paradise by a dashboard light either. I would expect that the lux value given off by a car internal light - particularly in 1977 - would only allow a visibility of a few feet, if that.

Its never a good thing to see the demise of a legend like James Brown but I wonder if it came as a bit of a surprise to his medical team just how ill he was? Given his proclivity for informing all and sundry how good he was feeling, even when they were not particularly interesed.

I frankly doubt that. It would have scared the midwife and doctor half to death, ("my god Mrs. Feld, your baby appears to be doing 'The Funky Chicken'...") not to mention causing his poor mother a hell of a lot of pain.
He also claimed that he "danced myself into the tomb." A quick google confirms that he did nothing of the sort, and in fact, had to be carried in.
