Sorry Gilo. Blade Runner, Blade Runner and Magnolia.

For those that haven't seen Blade Runner - it's a conversation between a synthetic human (an android) Roy Batty - who is dying due to a preprogrammed 4 year lifespan - and has managed to find the scientist who designed his eyes. The questions he wants answered - how to live longer - are beyond the ken of Dr Chew, who directs him to the man who designed his mind - Dr Tyrell.

In Magnolia, a child whose father drives him (too hard) to succeed at quiz shows dries up (excuse the pun) on live TV because the producers won't let him go to the toilet.

I warmly invite any of you to take on the mantle of quizmaster - even if it's just for one quiz - we can incorporate the points scored in the existing stats.

I enjoy the Movies and the movie quizzes ... the trouble is I don't watch films on TV much and repeats of really good movies are few and far between ... plus you might, like me, prefer certain genres and dislike others therefore never watch them. For instance, I haven't watched Blade Runner for years ... and I have the vid.

Quizzes are like that. Look at Mastermind ... they might know their own subjects (sometimes!) but General Knowledge is where those specialists trip up.

No point in getting on to Dada ... he does what he does and since I take it to be his hobby ... he does it very well. If you're not up to scratch at his level, that's not his fault. It's his speciality ...

So there's everything to play for if you come up with your own version of a quiz ... like I did. My 2nd one is based on something I like ... that many of you should know (I think!).

Meanwhile, I look forward to Dada's next (easier I hope) quiz!
